This new digital film transfer of the motion picture Phantom was made on a Spirit Datacine from a 35mm low contrast print at Ascent Media in Burbank, CA at the recommended speed of approximately 20 frames per second. Telecine colorist: David Block. It is presented in its original theatrical aspect ratio of 1:33:1.

The reconstruction was a collaboration between the Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv, Berlin and the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Foundation, Wiesbaden. It was executed by Luciano Berriatœa and Camille Blot-Wellens on behalf of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Foundation. Laboratory work: L`Immagine Ritrovata, Bologna.

The music score was composed and arranged by Robert Israel, performed by The Robert Israel Orchestra (Europe), conducted by Robert Israel; recording session directors Vit Muzik and Vladislav Kvapil. New English Intertitle Translation, Nadja Geipert, prepared for and with the cooperation and input of Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Foundation, Wiesbaden.
